◇ THE JOURNEY INTO CURRENT ROLE ◇

Victor's path into music and facilitation was anything but linear.

Growing up, he often felt undefined, caught between cultures, not fully Polish, not fully Australian. Not quite a musician, not quite an athlete. He played a part in many worlds, yet never felt fully anchored in any of them. At age 7, he was handed a cello by his school—an instrument he didn’t choose, but one he grew to love in secret. Despite quitting in Year 11, the joy of music had quietly taken root. Years later, with humility and a smile, he now admits his parents were right: "One day you’ll be grateful."

While studying and tutoring mathematics to please his parents (and earn freedom), Victor stumbled into his love for teaching an unexpected gift that revealed itself through mentoring students and supporting personal growth. It became a path not just of knowledge, but of resilience, optimism, and human connection.

Festivals became his escape from structure: the prescribed life of science and education. There, he embraced dance, movement, and community. He left the conventional world behind for a time, living on the road, off-grid and close to nature. These years brought healing, spirituality, and a deeper connection to self.

An injury eventually brought Victor back to the classroom but this time, with a new fire. Music, songwriting, and performance had become central to his identity. Over time, he found musical allies and community who nourished his creative gifts.

During COVID lockdowns, he lived with Josh, a close friend and talented musician. Their shared time—filled with Mario Kart, ping pong, and music ignited a new chapter. Josh became a mentor, helping Victor find the structure and scaffolding to bring his long-held musical dreams to life. Out of this, The Victor Scale was born an evolving musical project grounded in soul, truth, and joy.

Around the same time, Victor met Luke through the festival scene. Luke gave Victor the opportunity to take the stage as both a musician and dancer. From leading choreography at Elysium Gathering’s opening ceremony to launching his debut album, Victor continued to show up fully committed, expressive, and bold.

victor’s (not so) secret…

There was a secret he'd always held, whenever he entered a room, he was silently plotting how to get everyone to sing. Now, it wasn’t a secret anymore. Watching men, many of whom had never sung before, drop into presence and connection through music reminded him of the same joy he saw when children grow in a classroom.

Facilitation became not just a role, but a calling. Drawing on years of teaching, performing, and healing, Victor now brings patience, playfulness, and purpose to each session—guiding men into song, into self, and into each other.
